A Leeds-based medical firm has announced improved results and new plans for the year ahead.
Surgical Innovations attributed its five per cent rise in pre-tax profits for 2007 to the firm’s move to new premises in Leeds and a £4 million drive to expand in the US, reports the Business Desk.
The firm has also developed and protected a new range of products and is now keen to promote its brand, in order to create more of a name for itself in the industry.
Doug Liversidge, non-executive chairman, told the website: “I am delighted that once again we are able to report improved levels of profit and sales.
“Our confidence in our future is such that we have just completed a relocation of the business to facilities that provide us with triple the area of floor space and the capacity by which we can capitalise on this increasing opportunity.”
